Grant
Making Trusts
Grant Making Trusts has details of
more than 34,000 trusts, foundations and charities that make
grants to organisations. The site allows organisations to
quickly find a wide range of new potential funders including
regional, lower profile and newer trusts plus charities that
make grants to organisations as well as running activities
themselves. |
Regional &
National Trusts
You can search trusts by region and nation. London & South East
14,000, South West 3,200, East of England 3,000, East Midlands
1,650, West Midlands 2,100, Yorkshire & Humber 1,600, North West
2,600, North East 600, Scotland 3,150, Wales 700 and Northern
Ireland 250. |
Higher
Profile Trusts
We list 2,000 trusts that have a high profile. These trusts are likely
to receive large numbers of applications. We also list a further 32,000 trusts with lower
profiles that are likely to attract fewer applicants and may
have simpler application processes. |
Newer Trusts
We have included all of the 6,500 trusts that have
been registered since 2016. We have divided these into each of
the six years since 2016. For the 27,500 trusts registered
before 2016 we only include those whose most recent annual
expenditure was above £10,000. |
Grant
Making Proportions
We have categorised the trusts into the 7,000 that mainly
make grants to organisations and the 27,000 other charities that partly make grants
to organisations whilst also
carrying out other activities themselves. |
Searching For Trusts
We have designed the site to be as easy to use as possible. All
on one page you can select from 14 activities and 6 beneficiary
types that best describe your organisation. You can list the
largest or smallest trusts first and list by name from A to Z or
Z to A.
